A 1979-80 semi-chopped, Americanised version of the Z1 engine in custom styling, with bobbed fenders, short mufflers, narrow bars and mag wheels. For 1979 the engine gained an automatic cam chain adjuster, Air Suction emissions control and a carburettor accelerator pump. The review describes a raw, vibration-heavy character and less confident straight-line stability in slow corners.
